SASH WINDOWS are part of many houses and tenement houses mainly on the market of Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland and USA.

The upward sliding windows are produced in a few ways, depending on whether it is a new building or old one being redecorated, the sash windows work on up-down sliding system. One or two vents may be movable. Such solution allows to save space inside a room, which makes it easier to arrange them, often bounded by standard window wings that open inward. They are made of products that are acknowledged and accepted on this market. We take into consideration indovidual requirements that come from from local tradition.

Characteristics:

  • Thickness of frame is 134,146,150mm, and thickness of a sash is 58mm
  • Up-down sliding windows
  • May be equipped in spring-operated drive gear located in the frame or lead-made counterweight that act as counterbalance, being a lead ballast that lift the sash.
  • Made of glued laminated wood: type pine
  • Windows are painted in any opaque colour (the paints branded SIKKENS) according to the palette NCS or another tranluscent colour branded TECKNOS, which make the wood structure visible.
  • Glass-units apply with thickness 26 to 36mm in two or three panes of glass.
